Apple recently released the IOS 10 update. That means, my husband and I can now communicate exclusively through picture. So far, it’s been a glorious thing:
Saying “hello”:
Affectionately calling him a loser:
Letting him know that his coffee is ready:
Responding to his impromptu lunch plans:
Showering me with affection: 
It’s only been a week, but I can honestly say that in ten years of marriage, we have never communicated so effectively. Our bond has strengthened through obnoxious humor via text, and I have Apple to thank for it.
