I'm Sheila. (aka Mom. aka She She.)
A wife at 18, mother at 19, and a grandma by the ripe ol' age of 42, I've quickly earned the title of "matriarch" in the family, along with every gray hair that came with it!
Whatever you call me, my identity is settled in Jesus, my beloved Lord, Savior and King. You see, He's shaped my family, my life, and me--all for His plan and His glory. It is my sincere hope and prayer that every word you read on this blog be from Him and all credit be given back to His Name.
As for me...
Blood bought. Blood sealed. Holy Spirit filled. Every day seeking. I would rather start my testimony there--for it is on what I rely: JESUS, in, through, and to. He's my everything, and ALL I will ever need.
I've got a past. But through Him I have a future.
I came from legalism, secrets and fear. But now I have Redemption, Truth and Power through Him alone.
Perfect? Never. But hidden in Him I am His Righteousness.
Mistakes? Plenty. But through His mercy I am Redeemed.
My story is like so many others: I love Him because He first loved me.
I'm sure I will share snapshots from my past off and on--but only to bring glory to His Name. For whatever I have done, or will do, is all for naught except in hope to know Him greater.
Join me in this journey, will you?
