Not too many days ago, my handsome husband turned 30. And while he’s as studly today as the day we married, I recently noticed one major difference:
His side of the medicine cabinet.
You see, we got married when we were 20. At that time, he had a single stick of deodorant, some cologne, and a bottle of Tylenol (maybe). Today, there’s an expansive collection of remedies for whatever ails him. When I noticed, I had to laugh at the sight.
But, the laughing stopped abruptly when I took a peak at my side.
Where once stood a single cleanser, toner, and moisturizer, now stands heaps of creams in all colors and kind.
In truth, 30 doesn’t feel all that different from 20. It doesn’t even look all that different from 20. But, bathroom cabinets tell another story–I call it “The Real First Signs of Aging.”
Off to find my glasses…I must have laid them down somewhere. 🙂
