The Blue Bus – Loaf By Loaf
Words From the Grey

The Blue Bus

I’ve been riding this bus for days, months, years.
At times for so long,
I lose hope through my tears.

Rocky and slow this road that I’m on.
Yet in spite of the ride,
I’m kept safely calm.

The Driver is jovial,
An experienced old Man.
His Presence brings calm,
One dare understand.

With Masterful eye He warns up ahead,
“Bumbles and bumps!
And watch for your head!”

The path sometimes narrow, uncomfortable, unreal,
“You are safe at all times,
 With Me at the wheel.”

Closing my eyes,
Robe up to my chin,
The motor is humming a distant old hymn.

Peace warm wraps around me as I hear Him reporting,
“Rest on My dear children,
 Joy comes in the morning”.

My destination seems distant,
Yet certain on time,
For He has foreseen it,
And promised it’s mine.
