“Religion. Religious practice is sweetly satisfying to the untempered soul. Works bring self-satisfaction to the fleshly side of things, but leave the spirit weak and starving. Marriage can be much the same: longevity, the ability to work alongside one another “appears” right and solid–but when that’s all there is, there’s a longing for true love that is never met. Same with the belief-walk for many.
How I longed to gather Israel like a hen gathers her chicks, but they would not. So it is today: even Grace cannot lure a wandering soul! Always seeking something “outside” to show to others, they sacrifice intimacy with Me for man’s satisfaction and approval nod. Intimacy is born in the quiet–one with One–safely wrapped in mutual love. The rest is evil and demonic.
Come to Me all ye who are weary and heavy-laden. I WILL give you rest.”

Jesus IS the Beginning and the End. The Author and the Finisher of Faith. Reliance on anything, or anyone else, will fail you from Grace*. Please come FULLY–He’s waiting! He paid. He bled. His victory wins ALL who commit to Him in sincerity. 🙂
